The North Perfume was handcrafted right here at Sage Goddess Headquarters with woodsy notes of pine for protection and purification, juniper for healing and warmth, Northern California redwood for spiritual growth and union, and balsam fir for easing stress and detoxification. Every bottle is also infused with a tree agate chip stone for stability and ancestral wisdom. This is unlike any perfume you’ve anointed with before. The scent is like taking a walk through the primordial redwood forest before the intrusion of industrialized society – a time of deep peace, stillness, and oneness with nature. The deeper magic of The North Perfume
The North Perfume totally embodies the North. For me, that’s the northern woods of San Francisco and the Bay Area. This fragrance is my home. My woods. My connection to Earth. There is truly nothing else like it. Pine is protective, purifying, cleansing, invigorating, and healing. It brings wellness, prosperity, endurance and provides a sense of direction. Pine also evokes humbleness, mindfulness, and simplicity. Juniper is also purifying, healing, and regenerating. It’s associated with fire and brings warmth, passion, and vital energy. Northern California redwood encourages community, spiritual growth, and union of all kinds. Balsam fir is detoxifying, healing, and eases stress and tension. It’s grounding, purifying, strengthening, and promotes joy.

I have been curious of North for years, but the price kept me from trying it for the longest time, and it was before North was available as a sample. However, in my latest order I was given a small sample of North and I was hooked. I knew I had to get the full bottle! It smells AMAZING. It’s so facinating to me that it reminds me of the pine forest in Sweden, even though Athena made it to capture the forest in California. Now when the days where I can’t get out of the house is no longer so frightening or secluded, I can relax by putting some north on and breathing in the forest in my own home; I’m grounded and safe.

I love this scent. I received in a ritual kit last year for the first time and have made it part of my weekly arsenal. I used all summer to keep me grounded, but it does really come alive in the winter!

The North smells of trees! I love it. Feels like I’m dancing in a forest and I cannot stop smelling it. I enjoyed the video of her smelling it for the first time? That’s how I felt too when I first smelled it!

The mountains are so enchanting to me. I live in the Midwest, so I don’t get to see the snow covered peaks often. To me, this scent captures the essence of a mountainous wilderness.

This was the first bottle I ordered and it sure was the right choice. I love it. When dear friends come to my house I roll it on their wrist and watch them. I see it transport them. This could likely be a Universal North.

But it captures the mountains of North Carolina in a snow covered winter perfectly.I grew up there, smelling snow in the air, carried by the scent of fir and balsam… and this takes me home. Diffused in my diffuser, I can close my eyes and be on the side of a mountain, just taking it all in. It’s fir trees in a bottle.

I am from the frozen tundra known as the Midwest, and I have to say that I agree. There is this amazing, crisp snow note in there that smells like freshly fallen snow. It isn’t that nasty “clean water” smell that commercial perfumes have, it is honestly a light, wet, snow smell. <3

This is a truly magical scent not only for Yule and Christmas but also for any time when you are yearning to be outdoors in a cool conifer forest. It is exactly like sticking your nose into the most aromatic Christmas tree you can imagine, minus the ouch. It’s so genuine you expect it to be resin-sticky. Marvelous!
