It’s a blend of ingredients, all of which are 100% natural and skin-safe. Its base is made with babassu oil, beeswax, cocoa beans, avocado butter, and shea butter. I’ve also infused it with pure spikenard essential oil and a sugilite chip stone for energetic detoxification and healing. Finally, this balm is topped with spikenard root. Our balms are elevated compared to other brands because we don’t take the easy route – instead of using a high ratio of beeswax, we combine different kinds of butter and make this blend with 100% essential oils.

Spikenard is a member of the Valerian family that grows in the Himalayas. It’s one of the most prominent oils in Biblical literature, used by Mary Magdalene to anoint Jesus’ feet. Spikenard was also prized by the ancient Egyptians, Romans, and Hebrews. Anointing with this precious oil represents a deep act of service. Spikenard deepens meditation by bringing the mind into a state of stillness and has been used for thousands of years as a tool to assist in self-reflection, concentration, and clarity. It supports the retention and assimilation of new information and is sometimes referred to as the “Student Oil.” Spikenard opens the Crown Chakra for spiritual awakening and offers protection and purification on all spiritual journeys. It’s also known as the “rainbow bridge medicine,” which sends medicine to the ancestors, and it helps release grief, heartache, and resentment and replaces those energies with unconditional love and compassion.
