If you’re ready to experience the medicine of Samhain and shadow season, my Mortem Perfume is BACK and here to support you! This is one of my favorite times of the year. Here in the Northern Hemisphere, the days shorten, the shadows grow, and the veil between our world and the spirit world is at its thinnest. There’s an extra electrical charge in the air and the magical possibilities seem to be all around us. “Mortem” comes from the Latin meaning “death,” and this potion is here to lovingly remind us that it’s a natural part of life. Crafted from gorgeous notes of lavender, juniper wood, rose, and jasmine, each bottle is infused with an obsidian chip stone for extra cleansing and protection! Anoint with this fragrance to move through this season of light and shadow with grace and wisdom.
The deeper magic of my Mortem Perfume
My Mortem Perfume is blended with notes of lavender, juniper wood, rose, and jasmine. Lavender essential oil is the queen of all oils and brings honest communication and authentic expression. Its sweet herbal fragrance welcomes in internal peace, a calm mind, and relaxes the physical state. Juniper wood is a potent bringer of protection, peace, centeredness, and balance. It helps you get grounded as well as focused. Rose, known as “Queen of Flowers,” is prized for its beauty and swoon-worthy aroma. It has one of the highest vibrational frequencies of all plants – it encourages soul connection, and opens channels of receptivity. The scent of roses is common in the presence of the supernatural. Rose helps relieve stress, tension, and fear, and is also protective and balancing. Jasmine is a mystical flower associated with the Divine Feminine, divination, and moon magic. Its flowers bloom at night, earning it the nickname “Queen of the Night.” Cleopatra dipped her ships’ sails in jasmine to intoxicate those she meant to conquer.

This, I have recently been informed, is my new signature scent. Happily I embrace it! It is just so transcendent …mere words fail me. I remember reading the ingredients and thinking “huh… those are all scents I love” and I LOVE this. It is probably the most designer-like blend of any of the Sage Goddess perfumes I’ve had, and it is SEXY. I feel powerful and beautiful with this on.
