My Lux Vera Perfume, part of my Alcyone Kingfisher Goddess Yule Set, is now available on its own. “Lux vera” means “true or eternal light,” and the notes in this potion – lavender, bergamot, cardamom, boronia flower, and fir needle – reflect that eternal light. Alcyone is the brightest of the seven Pleiades stars, and in all her glory on Yule – the darkest night of the year. Alcyone nests every winter for two weeks, and while she does, the wild seas become calm and peaceful. At Yule, we too curl up and rest. We prepare for the new by immersing in our dreams and nurturing the earliest signs of growth (our metaphorical eggs). It’s time to snuggle into our nests of integration, engaging in reflection and solitude to emerge in wholeness. This time of year offers the magical power of silence. The deeper magic of this Lux Vera Perfume
There are five main notes in my Lux Vera Perfume: Lavender, bergamot, cardamom, boronia flower, and fir needle. Lavender represents the Crown Chakra, levels of higher consciousness, and purification. Bergamot provides strength and connects you to the higher realms. Cardamom helps integrate spiritual wisdom with the physical world. Boronia creates automatic flow – a total manifestation oil that costs $400/ounce. It also calms the mind, allowing for greater clarity and focus. Fir needle has long been associated with Yule, bringing healing and helping to ground ideas in the earth realm. Each bottle is infused with a clear quartz chip stone for magnification.
