It’s also a time to acknowledge how much exists beyond what we perceive with our five mortal senses. Hecate knows what we do not, and we can call upon her in times of uncertainty. This fragrance is a blend of cedar for protection, jasmine for divination, patchouli for introspection, and a deep resinous amber for ancient wisdom. Each bottle is infused with a black obsidian chip stone for protection, grounding, and cleansing of the Earth Star and Root Chakras. Hecate is the Greek goddess of the in-between, the place between life and death, and acts as the guardian of the crossroads. Her gifts are transformation and release, and she stands at the gateway to new possibilities and opportunities. When you arrive at the threshold, you have a choice on how to proceed. In mythology, Hecate blazed the night with torches, guiding Demeter in search of her daughter Persephone, who had been abducted by Pluto. Hecate was often depicted with a torch, bringing light and wisdom to the world, as well as keys to open the gates between the worlds and access the hidden knowledge beyond.
