This Natural Tashmarine from Afghanistan is EXTRAORDINARY. It’s one of the newer and most remarkable discoveries of the 21st century. Tashmarine means stone of the sea, derived from “Tash,” meaning “stone” in Central Asian languages, and marine, which means “ocean.” This gem was discovered in the mid-90s on a steep mountain in a hidden, remote area. It was an incredibly challenging journey for miners who had to drag heavy rock hammers up a 60-degree slope just to access this gem. Tashmarine is a non-chromium form of green diopside that comes in varying shades – from pistachio to grey-green, blue-green, and even a rare yellow-green. Diopside is a stone of healing, balance, and Earth connection. This magical gem creates a powerful tie between you and the natural world and leads you to integrate your spirit with the spirit of Gaia. Because tashmarine comes from one of the origin regions of western civilization, it truly anchors you to the heart of the planet.
