Opal, in general, forms within the voids of host rocks when silica-rich waters from dissolved sand trickle through the cracks of sandstone beds. Welo opal is unique because it contains a variety of colorful patterns and flashes of light due to the way the silica particles are arranged. This opal is found exclusively in the Welo region of Ethiopia. It awakens passion, increases vitality, enhances kundalini energy, and heightens intensity and pleasure in your experiences.
