Fenster quartz is one of my all-time favorite varieties of quartz but also one of the most elusive. The name “Fenster” comes from the German word for window. This naturally multi-terminated piece of quartz magic is so old that the organic material no longer remains, leaving only the skeleton of the original formation in place. This gorgeous gem is from Pakistan and carries with it ancient teachings, wisdom, and information captured in each of its windows. This piece is anointed with champaka for joy and higher realm connection, rose for happiness and soul connection, and magnolia essential oils for peace and spiritual healing – perfect to usher in the Spring energies of renewal as we head into Imbolc. Most Fenster quartz comes from Pakistan, with a smaller proportion of similar material coming from Mexico. I like them raw and dirty from the mine, with bits of hardened clay baked on over centuries of time and evolution.
