Lavender is derived from the Latin lavare, which simply means ‘to wash,’ and its many uses date back to Roman times. Lavender can help support physical wellness, especially promoting restful sleep and bringing about a state of happiness. One of the most commonly used essential oils in the world, the lavender plant represents tranquility, meditation, yin and yang, the Crown Chakra, levels of higher consciousness, and purification. Whoa! Admittedly I am not the worlds biggest fan of lavender perfume-wise, but I tried this to help with anxiety and sleep. So far, it’s worked like a charm every time! I use it when I’m having a panic attack, and when I wake up in the middle of the night – it calms me down and puts my mind in a different place every time. This will have to be in my collection permanently!
