My Seven Sacred blend was inspired by the anointing practices used with the Seven Sacred Oils in ancient Egypt, based on temple and tomb inscriptions spanning over 3500 years. Legend has it that these exotic oils opened the Third Eye in ritual and also supported and guided the departed through the afterlife. Scents such as perfume, incense, and oils were sacred to the ancient Egyptians and to anoint yourself with them was akin to being god-like, as gods and goddesses were the “most fragrant beings imaginable.” 

My Seven Sacred Balm was lovingly hand-crafted right here at Sage Goddess Headquarters with a nourishing base of babassu oil, beeswax, cocoa beans, avocado butter, and shea butter. It’s anointed with my Seven Sacred Perfume, a blend of the Seven Sacred Oils – intoxicating, all-natural notes of blue lotus, pine, myrrh, juniper, spikenard, jasmine, and cassia. This scent is exactly what it smelled like in ancient Egyptian temples. This balm is also infused with a lapis lazuli chip stone – a gem prized by Cleopatra for granting spiritual vision, confidence, and power – and sprinkled with blue lotus for powerful Third Eye activation. The magic of my Seven Sacred Balm lies in the ingredients. Blue lotus is one of the oldest distilled substances on earth and has a psychedelic ingredient that made it irreplaceable to the Egyptians, for whom the journey to the afterlife was the most important priority. Blue lotus is enchantingly beautiful with an intoxicating fragrance that alters and elevates consciousness. It activates the Third Eye Chakra for enhanced vision and intuition. It’s also an aphrodisiac! Pine is crisp, spicy, and invigorating. It’s used for assistance during vision quests, dream states, balancing, and star energy. Pine provides a sense of direction and evokes humbleness, mindfulness, and simplicity. Myrrh links with the soul’s pathway, where we face many crossroads, and it serves as a gateway to the spirit world. Widely used in aromatherapy, myrrh encourages tranquility, serenity, and wellness, and its balancing properties bring peace to the body, mind, and soul. 

Juniper is purifying, healing, and regenerating. It’s associated with fire and brings warmth, passion, and vitality. Juniper trees can grow where few other trees can, and despite challenging environments, they live long lives. Juniper reminds us of our own resilience, adaptability, and strength. Spikenard was prized by the ancient Egyptians, Romans, and Hebrews. It opens the Crown Chakra for spiritual awakening and offers protection and purification on all spiritual journeys. Spikenard is also the “rainbow bridge medicine.” It sends medicine to the ancestors and helps release grief, heartache, and resentment and replace those energies with unconditional love and compassion.

Jasmine is a mystical flower associated with the Divine Feminine, divination, and moon magic. It’s one of the most expensive oils in the world and gives a boost of energy, creativity, and joy. This sexy flower is an aphrodisiac that brings power and purpose. Cleopatra dipped her ships’ sails in jasmine to intoxicate those she meant to conquer. Cassia raises spiritual vibrations, increases energy levels, brings courage, and stokes the fires of sexual desire and arousal. It was known as a royal fragrance to the gods and kings and is said to attract prosperity and riches into your earthly and spiritual kingdom.
