Every step in this candle’s creation was infused with love and intent: From the hand-poured soy-blend wax to the stunning fragrance to the original artwork and invocation, which was created by my very own team of talented designers.

The wax of this candle is a mysterious, shadowy black. Black is the absence of color. It represents the Divine Feminine and the unconscious, that which is full of possibility, fertility, magic, and mystery. This gorgeous candle is scented with my Eclipse Perfume, an SG community favorite that’s a beautiful blend of lilac, sandalwood, and pumpkin. We have also infused this candle with a black obsidian chip stone for cleansing and topped it with a clear quartz point for amplification and a bit of black glitter. To top it off, the candle is wrapped with a gorgeous orange sari silk ribbon. Work with this offering to bring light to the shadows and reveal the unseen.

Eclipses usually signify a simultaneous end and beginning – feelings of vast transformation, spiritual development, and unexpected changes of direction do not come as surprises during this time. A solar eclipse occurs during a new moon when the Moon’s shadow crosses Earth’s surface (the Moon blocks the Sun). A lunar eclipse occurs during a full moon when the Moon moves into the shadow of the Earth (the Earth blocks the sunlight from reaching the Moon). Eclipses serve as spotlights – like turning the lights off and then flashing them back on. We have the opportunity to see, feel and respond differently. Sometimes it’s difficult to see what is right in front of us. Eclipses support shifts in consciousness, bringing changes.

The magic of this Eclipse Intention Candle lies in its ingredients: Lilac has a heady fragrance that both banishes negative energy and draws in positivity for adventure and pleasure. Sandalwood is beyond sacred. It’s the second most expensive wood on the planet and has been used for at least 4,000 years. Sandalwood has the ability to bypass the conscious mind to access the subconscious, which makes it ideal for shamanic work. Note: Please always burn candles on a heatproof stable surface, and never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn time for this candle is about 75-80 hours, depending on the environment. Burn times will always vary depending on the placement of your candle and the height of your wick. The longer the wick, the quicker the candle will burn. Drafty areas will burn slightly quicker. You can extend your candles’ burn time by burning them long enough to allow the wax pool to reach the edge. If you do not allow them to burn all the way to the edge of the container when you first burn them, they will begin to tunnel down into the wax instead of melting all the way to the edges.
