Seance Intention Candle

Close your eyes for a moment. What do you sense? When your whole world is shrouded in darkness, what sorts of feelings and visions come to life? My Seance Intention Candle is a portal to the unknown – a reminder of the magic and mystery that exists beyond our world of time and space. The word séance is French for “session” and refers to a meeting with the spirit realm – a time to commune with our protectors and guides beyond the veil. Shadow season is the perfect time for this work: As the veil is lifted, the past meets the present, and all things hidden – both within us and around us – come to play. 

This candle was inspired by my Seance Perfume – my favorite blend for shadow season. And now, its magic is available in candle form. It was hand-poured right here at Sage Goddess Headquarters with loving intention and features custom SG artwork. This candle is smokey blue and grey and its soy blend includes notes from my Seance Perfume with opoponax for spiritual revelation, vetiver for divine purpose, patchouli for spiritual growth, tobacco for ancestor connection, labdanum for meditation and contemplation, oud for connecting to higher realms, and coltsfoot for visioning. Every candle is also infused with a smoky quartz chip stone for grounding. Plus, it’s topped with silver glitter and a clear quartz point to amplify your spiritual work. The deeper magic of my Seance Intention Candle

My Seance Intention Candle is infused with my Seance Perfume, which contains notes of opoponax, vetiver, patchouli, tobacco, labdanum, oud, and coltsfoot. Opoponax is THE oil for spiritual revelation. It’s an incredible guide in lucid dreaming, trance work, vision questing, deep meditation, and outer realm connection. By opening the upper chakras, opoponax grants you access to the higher realms and the Akashic records – which is why it’s such a popular tool for anyone doing outer realm or shamanic work. Vetiver is my favorite oil for grounding. It helps you remember what truly matters and reconnects you with your divine purpose. It also provides a powerful sense of balance for the mind, body, and soul. Work with it for deep peace, purification, to uplift your mood, and find your center. Patchouli is an herb of attraction that draws your desires to you and makes you more alluring to others. Its earthy essence heightens sensuality and entices you to enjoy your physical nature. Patchouli also supports spiritual growth. 

Indigenous peoples have used tobacco in spiritual ceremony and vision questing for thousands of years to connect to Earth and Sky, bridging material and spiritual worlds. It’s a sacred herb of prayer, protection, purification, respect, peace, gratitude, and ancestor connection. Labdanum has a long spiritual history, way back to the Old Testament. Labdanum is mysterious – sedating yet uplifting, and wonderful for meditation and contemplation. It has a glamorous, sexy essence, associated with solar deities and Venus. Oud originates from the wood of the agar tree, which is also known as “the wood of the gods.” When the agar tree is attacked, it releases a resin (known as oud) to defend and heal itself. Oud increases focus and alertness and is often used to attain deep meditative states and connect to higher realms. It connects you with the upper chakra energies and activates light codes. Coltsfoot resonates with the water element and is traditionally used in visioning and love spells. It evokes peace and tranquility, and some even say it has the power to bring back long-lost-lovers – physically or spiritually.
