Rise into the light of your most powerful and authentic self with this beautiful Hand-Painted Wooden Peacock Egg. This egg is such a gorgeous offering, hand-painted by skilled artists in India. When Peacock shows up, get ready to show all your colors and fan the flames of creativity. Peacock is said to be the bird closest resembling the Phoenix, and working with its medicine encourages you to rise into your best, purest, bravest self. The egg has been a symbol of spring long before the Easter basket. Eggs, along with all seeds, contain the complete potential of life within. Work with this offering to connect with your full potential and power.
The deeper magic of this Hand-Painted Wooden Peacock Egg
Peacock was Hera’s sacred animal and spiritual ally. In ancient Greek mythology, it’s said that Hera, Queen of the Gods, gave the peacock its numerous ‘eyes,’ perhaps to best provide wisdom and insight or maybe because the eye shape is one of the most fundamental and sacred symbols of protection.
- Invites you to show your true colors and share yourself with the world.
- Helps you release fears around creative expression and take center stage in your own life.
- Have a little healthy selfishness when it comes to that love and attention you give to everyone else — keep some for yourself!
Eggs are sacred to the goddess Ostara, symbolizing fertility and the renewed cycle of life. Chickens kept in natural light quit laying in winter, resuming in the spring with peak months March and April, connecting them with Ostara’s season of growth. The cosmic egg is a symbol of the entire universe and the balance of masculine and feminine.
Set this Hand-Painted Wooden Peacock Egg on your altar, desk, or nightstand to remind you of your ability to rise and emerge despite all odds. Let it remind you of the strength in new beginnings and the possibility of trusting your innate wisdom in the process. And so it is.
Don’t forget a stand to display your new treasure when not in use.
This listing is for one (1) Hand-Painted Wooden Peacock Egg (about 3”). Yours will arrive lovingly parceled, ready for your enjoyment.
Blessings,
Athena

I saw these eggs and had to have one. The bright blue coloring really stands out on the white background, which makes this a charming decorative piece. I have mine on display next to my Russian Nesting Dolls and pisanki egg – they go so well together.
